Find a selling price from markup or target margin, or compare actual markup and margin using cost and selling price. Include quantity, extra costs, overhead and per-unit discounts.
01 / PRICING MODE
Target revenue = combined cost × (1 + markup ÷ 100). A 25% markup on a 100 cost needs 125 realized revenue before any discount.
Target revenue = combined cost ÷ (1 − margin ÷ 100). A 25 profit on 125 revenue is a 20% margin, not 25%.
02 / PRODUCT DETAILS
Base cost + additional costs + overhead = combined cost per unit. Discounts reduce listed selling price per unit before profit; currency changes display only.

04 / WHAT-IF PRICING
Uses the selected product’s costs and discount. Suggested prices are rounded to your display currency.
All calculations run in your browser. Per-unit prices are rounded to currency minor units; extended line totals are rounded after quantity. With fractional quantities, displayed per-unit values may differ from extended totals by one minor unit.
Choose cost and selling price, markup target or target profit margin.
Add per-unit costs, overhead, quantity and optional discount for each product.

Choose Cost & Selling, Price from Markup or Price from Target Margin. Enter per-unit costs, quantity and optional discount; switch to Multi-product for a weighted portfolio summary. Try a what-if target, copy results or download a CSV.
See the difference between profit divided by cost (markup) and profit divided by revenue (margin). Explore discount-aware target pricing, itemized results and weighted profitability without uploads or exchange rates.
Your prices and calculations run only in your browser. Currency codes change the display and minor-unit rounding, not exchange rates.
Markup divides profit by cost. Margin divides profit by revenue after discounts. A 25 profit on a 100 cost and 125 revenue is 25% markup but 20% margin.
Multiply combined per-unit cost (base cost, extra costs and overhead) by one plus your target markup percentage. If there is a discount, the suggested listed price is adjusted to cover it.
Divide combined per-unit cost by one minus the target margin as a decimal. Margin must be below 100%; the listed price accounts for a per-unit discount.
Extra costs and overhead increase cost per unit. A percentage or fixed discount reduces the listed selling price per unit before revenue and profit are calculated.
Extended line amounts are rounded to the currency's minor unit and summed. Overall markup is total profit divided by total cost; overall margin is total profit divided by total revenue, not an average of product percentages.
An undefined percentage is shown as N/A instead of dividing by zero. Negative profit and margin show a loss; target pricing with zero combined cost cannot produce a meaningful target percentage.
